On Thursday, June 25, 2009 - Elder Taylor Bradley McBride received his mission call! We were planning on inviting family and a few friends over that night, as soon as we knew it was in the mail. Well, when it came in the mail, I called Taylor and he ran home from work. He was so cute! He was so excited, that he decided he didn't want to wait! We called Emily and he opened it right then and there!
Lots of excitement and nervousness!
Elder Taylor Bradley McBride . . . you are called to labor in the Dominican Republic, Santo Domingo East (Spanish Speaking) Mission . . . whoo hoo!!!
The Dominican Republic is in the Carribean just below Cuba. It shares and island with Haiti. Needless to say, we are all thrilled! He reports to the MTC on Wednesday, September 23 - 5 days after he turns 19. He will spend 3 weeks in the MTC in Provo and then spend 6 weeks in the MTC in Santo Domingo. Wow!
